The Sport Aviation Revolution |
|
Advanced Aero returns the thrill to flying with a two seat pusher that is fun to fly and economical to operate. With the introduction of its new Vortex aircraft, Advanced Aero captures the full opportunity of the 2004 FAA rule that created the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) market. The Vortex stands in stark contrast to the scaled-down conventional designs adopted by virtually all its LSA competitors. The Vortex LSA is a next generation design that is sleek and modern, yet inexpensive to purchase and operate, and easy to fly and maintain. The sleek, jet-like appearance of the Vortex was designed to appeal to both those who dream of entry into the flying experience and to senior pilots who want a practical, but attractive and cost effective plane for recreation. Just as importantly, Advanced Aero's patented A-Tail design enables a stronger, safer, more efficient airframe technology that satisfies the FAA's Light Sport Aircraft goal for economical but reliable aircraft.

Production final assembly is currently anticipated to be performed in the U.S.A. "We approached the design aspects of our program just like a FAA Part 23 certified aircraft. This is where our experience comes from, and it seemed to be the logical path forward. Our business model is based on creating strong relationships, such as partnering with Zenair Ltd. and AMD, the Orlando FAA Manufacturing Inspection District Office (OMIDO), ASTM, LAMA, and grass roots aviation promoters like LSA Sebring Expo." |
